Title: Front suspension
Post by: Archie on 11 March 2004, 09:43
Any known weaknesses or faults? I've noticed a sort of grating/creaking noise coming from the front n/s when cornering and braking whilst cornering. There are no obvious splits in the rubber gaiters and no other signs. Maybe a shocker on the way out?

if the cars been lowerd then it could be the drive shaft touching the anti roll bar. check for scoring around the d/shaft.

havent had any probs as such yet, but when i removed wheels to paint me calipers i saw a scuff mark on my drivers side drive shaft , mine must be catching when you push it hard as its lowered but the n/s is fine!!, i would check your drive shafts for any marks, if ok then maybe bottom ball joint ???
