Post by: Ashley on 29 October 2007, 15:51
Hey,

I'd just like to know where everywhere think's the best place for alloy/tyre packages?

I know of Rochford Tyres, but I'm not too sure where else to look..

I'm after some Black 15's really.. I havn't got loads to spend, but I do want a nice set..

Thanks

Ash

dubmeister and style dynamix look really cool.. trouble is I have no idea which size etc I need.. don't suppose you could tell me?

I've got a mk3 Golf 1.4i CL (a little bit puney, I know).. currently got the most scuffed up set of 13's  in the world, which came with it when I bought it..

Any websites which do like whole packages, so tyre n wheel together for a set price?

depends what your budget is mate?
you can get some crackin bargains on ebay,
prob get a decent 2nd hand set of gti rims with tyres for 150 and then spray them black if thats the look you want.
Or go the whole way and splash out on a  new set of RS4's or RS6's in 17" or 18" for about 400-450 with new tyres :)
On ebay theres a company called hotline alloys there really cheap, used them before myself, nice ppl :)

Do what you can do to refurb the wheels you have, without spending too much and keep saving for a while till you can afford the wheels you want.
Gives you more time to find a set you really like too.

Yeah definitely, that's cool.. I'm gonna go by the cool wheel refurbs thread I found on here.. Need to borrow me girlfriends sander n' buy some filler, wet n' dry, undercoat, gunmetal spray and lacquer. awesome.
