Title: Where the hell is the diognosis port on my 93 GTI

as above

supposed to be in drivers footwell, cant find it???????

Check beside the ashtray. Pull ashtray out then slide the plastic cover towards the drivers side.

where the rear window heater switch is, theirs 2 blanks to the right of this and one connector is behind each of these 2 blanks, the newer ones just have 1 16pin connector, mine has 2 x 4pin connectors, i had to order a extra lead for my vag.com lead to fit...
