Got the right forum this time doh!
Due to work/hobby commitments I need a bigger diesel estate car so will sadly soon be selling my Anniversary GTI. Was hoping someone could give me an estimate on value, spec as follows:
-96 MK3 GTI Anniversary - 8V
-5 Door - Black - All usual Anniversary additions / GTI spec.
-126k
-FSH (Mainly VW or VAG Specialists), V5, Logbook, Reciepts etc.
-130k Full Service Recently Done (new spark leads, dist cap, 2 tyres, etc)
-5-6 MOT/Tax
-Generally VGC, missing a fog light blanker and there's a crack in the plastric of the side trim (£30 from VW for a new one - just not had the chance). 2 v small spots of rust on door that were 'sorted'. Other than that just the odd stone chip etc from normal use - but no dings or dents and 2 of the BBS Alloys would appreciate a recon.
-Non Air-con version.
Any ideas appreciated? A cr@p pic follows, will get some better ones sorted when I'm ready to sell/have washed her. Cheers, Matt

I've got a 96 8v GTI anniversary and have been keeping an eye on the price. The cheapest one i can see for sale is 1650, but they do go for upto 3000 depending on condition.

the price of the anniversay depends on if you find the right buyer and patience.... I have seen them go for aound £1500 with the mileage you have with history and the little faults youve listed

Cheers for the replies. Was hoping for around £1900, looks like I might need to drop my estimations slightly, particularly as I'll be wanting a quick sale once I've found the right replacement car.
Where would you guys recommend selling to get the best price? Here/Autotrader or Ebay? watched a couple on Ebay, one went for over £2k and the other less than a grand! didn't seem a great deal between them condition wise.
Sounds like it might be worth sorting out the minor cosmetic issues to get a better price?
