I don't know if I am worrying about nothing but have heard a popping coming from the exhaust during gear changes, it almost sounds like a back fire but a hell of a lot quiter and only heard it when I have had it in 'S' mode. Its a GTI DSG by the way.
Normal or not?

sorry for laughing, mine does but its that weak its farcical, my old focus ST 2.5T, was fantastic noise wise with giant intercooler, graham goode cais, "3 downpipe, 100cell sportcat, 4.5" cat back, dreamscience ecu. it wasnt a pop more an explosion on gear change, my ed 30 sounds like a budgie with a cold lol

I love that sound, especially when I am driving down a narrow street or in a tunnel.

Damn - how do you get it to pop? Can't say I've ever noticed

i've also just come from a ST Focus which made a truely awesome exhaust noise, so the gentle owl fart that my dsg gti makes is rather soothing
