Title: supercharged mk2?

hi all! i am newto this forum but not new to me golfs! at last count i have owned one 1.6 cl, 4 golf gti 8 valve,1 gti 16v,1 awesome mk1 caddy,1 mk2 scirrocco,1 v6 4 motion,1 transporter?!! anyway ive got another mk2 now(went japanese never again)and i was thinking of supercharging it? is ther any 1 out there got some experience about this???   thanks jason

You'd probably be better off getting a G60 or Ralleye

your probarly right buddy but with a g60 all the works been done! i want 2 look outside and say idone that. just need pointed in the right direction

I don't have any experience personally but what mk2 do you have now? If its a 16v I've seen Eaton Superchargers fitted, they are the same type that is fitted to the 2003+ Mini Cooper S models. I also think that you can supercharge pretty much any engine, it just has to cope with the compression. Talk to companies such as:

i have an 8v now. and same as you ive heard you can fit almost any charger to it,heard cooper s been said as well. had a mate that charged his mini and he said you couldnt keep it straight through the gears!!! but he never bothered with waste gate, so it didnt last long :undecided:it would be good to have something as nuts as that :grin:
