Title: Vacuum pipes
Post by: mk2mark on 24 October 2007, 19:13
Quick question. On an 8v digi can I interchange the plain rubber vacuum pipes (cold air start on airbox) with the braided ones (fuel rail under plenum)? Why are some braided?

They should be nylon with braided ends

Well they're not nylon anyway, they're rubber with a braided fabric (cotton?) sleeve.

should be fine mate as long as you have no leaks.

1m of the hose was about £3 or less from GSF
