Title: mk2 gti dampeners fit mk3 vr6?

hello i have suppension problems with my vr6 , the back end is scraping , will a set of mk2 gti damperners fitted with some vr6 sports springs work out? , as i have a set of mk2 spax damperners nearly new  :lipsrsealed:
