Giffy what are you doing paying so much? That is just silly money! Even being a year younger than me (probs not even that as im not 21 till April) it shouldn't be that much, plus I know for a fact mine is quite dear due to postcode anyway.

do u av2 declare after market alloys or do u reckon its alrite cos itll be insured for standard alloys anyway?
-
I think you should probably declare after market alloys or run the risk of non payment in the event of a claim.
Insurance companies are there to make money and will use anything that allows them to refuse the claim.
-

-
Yeah but long story with the finance Ive got on it! Had a Golf 1.6 match before and couldnt sell it so part exed it for £5100. Sorry, gave it away for £5100!
Then financed the Anni for £223 a month for 3 years. The best bit being ive still got 2 years of the previous golf to pay off at £150 a month. So it's costing me £370 a month and still gotta afford my BMC CDA (just arrived and being fitted Sunday ) and other mods. Happy motoring or wot?!

-
25/1.8T/£477 with Swiftcover. However, this went up to £609 including protected no claims, personal accident cover, courtesy car if req'd and legal cover.
My car is in a Teesside postcode, which aint exactly the best for insurance and is also parked on the road, which also doesnt help.
My renewal with 1st Alternative was £550 with pnc & legal but the excess was about £300 compared to £100 with Swiftcover.
-
my insurance due the end of this month this is best i have found so far.
28/gt tdi 130/ £375 fully comp 6 years ncb, with 18inch alloys on, and 2 accidents, not my fault but it seems to make a difference.
