Have you looked into getting a pannel filter? They seem like the actually produce gains.

Filters are an interesing subject. Pretty much all the Cone filters available off the shelf do nothing other than increase inductionnoise (WHich is no bad thing). K&N panel filters in a drilled airbox however actually do produce more power in most applications. They also increase induction noise. THe key with the K&N panel filters is to keep them clean and oiled. If you slap it in and then leave it it will be no better than a standard paper filter after 12 months.

Yeah a was thinking about a panel filter.
I found that with the cone filter, once the engine bay warmed up the performace was not so good! To much warm air being sucked into the engine :undecided:

Pardon my dimness but other than the old story about induction kits not bein as good as a panel filter because of the heat sucked in what is it about these kits thats rubbish? :undecided: They look mad

Electric superchargers do not work! They are as useful as a chocolate tea pot!
Electric superchargers do not work because, the engine's vacuum (the natural suction of air through piston displacement) is more powerful than the push force of the electric fan used on the supercharger. This means the pull of the air from the engine turns the fan quicker than the fan can turn itself due to the fact that there simply isn't enough power to turn the fan at any worthwhile speed. What this does is this puts drag on the air intake while damaging the fan on the supercharger. Hence it breaks fairly easily and leave debris to flow into your intake which may cause engine damage. They're not worth it at all. You'd get better gains from a Cold Air intake.
Don't listen to their LIES!!!

Nice one mate.. I knew there would be a ligitamate reason why these sucked!

You'll be better off spending your money on a mini cooper supercharger like this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/bmw-mini-cooper-s-supercharger-rally-corsa-saxo-astra_W0QQitemZ260171060931QQihZ016QQcategoryZ100916QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/bmw-mini-cooper-s-supercharger-rally-corsa-saxo-astra_W0QQitemZ260171060931QQihZ016QQcategoryZ100916QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
But then, you need to upgrade engine components so they can deal with the extra stress and heat. Would be worth it in the long run if you have the time and money
