Title: New wheels
Post by: K1 on 17 October 2007, 14:01
Thanks to MK5dubber i have a nice set of black monza 2's. Pics don't do em justice cos i'm a crap photographer, but here they are anyway. There is another car exactly like mine at my local dealer, same colour and wheels also ed30. So i'm off to burn it now, can't have the same car as mine rolling around this area

God everybody is jumping on the rockingham bandwagon - can't blame you though - in the flesh they are more tops than any photo can show

Stunning looking car I really like the contrast between the black and white.

As for the car at the dealers once someone buys it dub the number plate and never getting a speeding ticket/parking fine again

look really nice but i dont reckon they would on a black ed30 or standard gti, has to be a white ed30 for them to work and when they do work they look cool as f0000k

Like looking into a mirror!
white.... (Homer-drool)... mmmmmm

white car + black wheels - getting popular here now. See more and more expensive cars in white (RS4, Porsche Turbo ), black rims are also popular.

Still like yours best Peskarik, with the snow pic

I'm waiting for the Winter snow in Germany just so you can go out and get some more pics for us

Grazie mille! Vielen Dank! Bolshoe spasibo! Many thanks!

I like the snow pic myself. It is such a good contrast! And it makes it 3 times better for me, because it was made on my first drive with the Ed30, and in the middle of hot summer!

though I generally do not like BBS rims, the black ones like here are fabulous, and with the white stripe they are magnificent!  And the 19" really fill the arches nicely. Dude, where did you get those rims?!

The rear skirt also looks nice! Who is the manufacturer? What is about that exhaust, is it from R32?

Can't match ur scenery Peskarik, truely awesome back drop, oh nice car too
Really, love that back end of ur car Rob, benn thinking of doing it, but already bought Milltek exhaust, so no point in spending more money, also may distract from the whole edition 30/anniversery theme.
TBH Phil, was expecting to hate to DUnlops, but imo, they provide better steering feedback than the exaltos i had before. Ride is tad bit firmer along with a noisier ride, but i can live with that. Grip in as good as the exaltos in the dry at least, not tried wet yet, but generally not bad a tyre imo. Added bonus, for some reason they look lower profile that the exaltos.

I was debating if black wheels would look good on my Reflex silver. You've just made up my mind.

Anyone selling any 18" Black Monza II's

The black Monzas look stunning.  The way the light shines off the rim is gorgeous.  The black BBS look a bit gangsta rapper style.
