-
Nice car Makaveli, oh and nice house too ! much better than Phil's council pad.

Are we abit stuck up or something J M? or is this forum full t0ssers that think people that live on council estates are frowned apon? or their ego's are bigger then their own bank balances. Getting really fed up of this crap, im prowd to say that i actually OWN my ex council house and the place i live, dont have a morgage cus ive actually bought it this house 6 years ago, dont own a credit card and have no debts what so ever over me, and at 33 alot of people cant say they are in the same position as me. So dont take the piss of people that live on a council estate, at least i HAVENT got a morgage, own my car, thats NOT on finance, and just purchased a 4 bed house NOT on a council estate. So do yourself a favour J.M and shut up this crap.

Yes they are the new R32 wheels. They look alot better in the flesh believe me.. I actually prefer them to the zolders imo!! As for Citroen looking... Whats wrong with Citroens?? I used to have one before the r32... get back to your coucil house!!
p.s. the last bit was a joke. Totally out of order JM!!

Great for cutting through traffic, not many cars can beat the little pile of pooo for that.

Cheers guys
I have an hour drive to and from work everyday and I actually woke up this morning looking forward to driving to work
Haven't pushed the rev's too high yet but I can just feel that the car is waiting for me to let her loose
I know it has only been a day but I really love this car already it feels so much more responsive than the S3 I traded in and just feels more nimble and alert - just can't wait to be more used to it so I can really see what it can do
-
i had a black 07 S3 Pull up next to me at the lights yesturday, both of us pulled away equally but what i did love was the sound of it, it had a more audible turbo whistle which i heard so clearly with my windows up!!. do u have a picture of your old one Makaveli ?
-
Yeah but it was a 52 plate so not got the grunt of the newer one's

Gone but not forgotten

their the new shape one was the one i saw, i do like the look of it, has got the mind thinking!!, but im sure as a day to living with car ,being taughter ride etc, that it would make a good family car
-
Yup,
S3 is a lovely motor. Had a (don't say anything to anyone!) test drive in one this weekend. Super build quality and made me hanker after another Audi again. I wouldn't give up the ED30 for one though, it would have to be a case of me having the S3 and the missis having the ED30 as the second car. She only puts 3k miles a year in and so I would still drive it myself too. Doubt if she would go for it, but the old Fiat is looking its age, and for a Fiat that IS old! Still need a 5 door for the parents plus the S3 only comes in manual
I want a proper 4WD Golf with the S3 engine, DSG and tuned to 350bhp+ please
-
Its funny I've come the same route and have the same findings, S3,mk5 GTi, now the ED30, and have the same findings the golfs are far more responsive but don't have the outright grip when the conditions aren't great.
Don't think it will be long until someone gets a mk5 4motion chassis and puts a modded 2.0Tfsi in it, if they made one I'll get 1 2 morra!

God Someone hold his handbag ! It was actually meant as a joke, (hence the wink) and ironically a little in your defence after the crap you got the other day(which i thought was out of order) NO i am not a snob (or a tosser) far from it, was bought up in a council house myself which my parents still own and live in. I could not give a toss where you live or what you own either and i am happy for your success in life, good luck to you mate. I apologise if i have offended you in any way shape or form.
