Just some quick advice if anyone knows.
I've got a Mk3 Gti 8v Anniversary and need to get a knew exhaust as mine has started to blow. I have decided to do it properly and get a s/steel one.
I was looking at a jetex one, just a twin round 80mm.
Is this a good one to get for not looking too boy racerish?
What is the difference between this one and one thats a high performance system? Apart from the high performance one is £25 cheaper
Any help would be most welcome

jetex are a high performance system. Milltek is another brand to have a look at.
-
But when you look at their website they have 2 products which are the same but one says its high performance.
Just want to know if anyone knows why they have this? and why is it 25quid cheaper?
-
is one for the 8v and one for the 16v?
-
They fit both

It is the same on other sites too, with having £25 difference

maybe there are less bits in the silencers meaning less metal=less cost?? = noiser notes.
-
yeah the sport one looses 1 box for a louder (MORE SPORTY?) sound
-
ok thanks for your help, think i will go for the quieter one though
-
you can see it in the pictures on the jetex site... the sporty one does lose a box... think i'd opt for the quieter one too but whatever floats your boat i guess?

Middle box is a muffler i.e a sound deadener. It will be a lot louder without but may well see improved performance through better flow
