And I am so happy!!! What a drive!!! What a car!!! Just been driving for three hours with a huge grin and may go back out once I have had my tea!!!
Dealer tried to squeeze another £500 out of me on the trade of the S3 but I just refused to take the ED30 till they absorbed the cost.
Only problem is that the rear view mirror doesn't tilt down when I slip her into reverse - am I to activate this somehow? Oh and the bottle opener wasn't there but I noticed before I left the forecourt so it is getting sorted.

It's the passenger side mirror that tilts down, not the rear view mirror, when selecting reverse.

Sorry that is what I meant the passenger side mirror - slected reverse and nothing happens.
I take it that means a visit back to the dealer?
-
I've noticed with mine that I have to be actually reversing for the mirror to fold down, rather than just in reverse gear.
-
OK will give a proper go tomorrow in the light - cheers for the info
-
Let us know how you get on. Fingers crossed
-
Read the handbook - it explains how to set up the 'reverse dipping' passenger door mirror - it's not as simple as you might think!
Memory is stored in the key fob - so you'll need to set it up with both keys HTH

Congratulations on the new car. Have you selected the Left (L) option on the mirror control panel on the drivers door? Took me ages to realise! Once you turn the control to L it should tilt down as soon as you put the car in reverse. Hope this helps
-
Really big thanks Stig - just been out and put it at the L position and it now works
Taken the manual in with me to have a wee read

Mind you, youd get a good view of the rear seats...

I agree with Stiggy
All we need are some lovely scenic pics of your car once it is detailed
