Hi has anyone taken the glass covering of the headlamp and if so is it just clipped on or isit clipped and glued also was not sure if someone could help?
-
mine seems to have glue also altho iv now put a twin headlight conversion on
was gonna put halo rings into my oe lights but thankfully decided it was too chavvy hehe

they are clipped and sealed on.... use some silicon seal remover if you really need to remove as resealing dosent all ways work well!!

Have recently done this, the glass is held on with a putty type substance albeit VERY well stuck. I found the glass can easily chip if you lever against it....
I took a stanley knife & carefully pryed away between the glass & plastic removing as much of the putty as possible then got a flat edged screwdriver & worked it in between, making sure that any 'leverage' was on the plastic. once it was in I carefully worked around the whole light until the glass came free.
Hope that helps!

Could of sworn I took a pic, but I'll be damned if I can find it!
The plastic almost wraps around the glass, like a lip that the glass sits on so you have to 'wiggle' the screwdriver to get it under the glass!

thats that grey mastic type rubber non setting stuff!! awfull stuff to remove!!

They would have to sealed otherwise condensation/water would gather inside the lens!! Vise-Versa they will need to be re-sealed thoroughly to prevent water gathering inside!!
