Title: Ecotek power boost

I have just used the ecotek power boost sparay that cleans out your engine and gets rid of the crap. well im giving it a big thumbs up throttle reponse has definetly improved, alot of whitesmoke when iwas doing it but definetly worth the 20 quid

A shot of Redex or any injection cleaner will do the same!

a waste of 20 quid..

Redex all the way..

or a can or wynns carb cleaner for a fraction of the cost and works just the same with the white smoke n all  :cool:

be care full using that spray as the carbon can plug various holes and smooth rough parts within the engine and removing these you can lose compression etc..... i knew someone who did this to a mondeo and fkd the engine up!! (mind it was a ford so no real loss there :grin:)

got to say i have had no problems with it used on it 4 diffrent cars now and it is a lot better than redex as redex only cleans your injectors,

Try taking off the flexi before the throttle body and pour some redex/wynns etc. (its all the same stuff) in there! You will soon see that it doesnt just clean the injectors!

That's the way to do it, after putting a couple of litres of water through the vac hose too. THEN you see smoke..
