Title: Euro insurance cover?

What cover do most people get with their insurance, when they are travelling to the EU.

My insurance comapany are telling me thats it only third party..... :shocked:

Hi mate,

What they are telling you is probably true. Any policy you buy in the UK will normally cover you in Europe too but only for the minimum legal cover. Most companies will usually extend this cover by taking a green card for the duration of your trip, sometimes this is free, sometimes they charge for it (we normally give up to 90 days free).

You are spot on martinb. They got back to me 90 days free (fully comp).
