ok im going to be adding a filter kit and later on down the line and decent exhaust system, when i do each of these bits do they have to be informed to my insurance ppl?? cheers.

Another thing worth noting - when you add these to your insurance you'll usually pay an admin charge. So you'll be better off doing them all in one go rather than adding one thing now and another down the line - it might mean waiting a bit longer, but I think admin charges are usually about £30 - £40, so it could be worth it.

Depends on who you are with really, with us often it would not even make any difference depending on what underwriter we have you with (unless you are adding it part way through in which case you would normally be charged an admin fee as Tom pointed out, with us thats normally £25.00).

OK, thanks. I may get a quote with you when my insurance runs out next year. It wasn't the cheapest this time around but maybe next year will be different.
