i`d use stu at euro car parts, you`ll get a bit of discount ;D
-
VW were cheaper for flexi brake hoses than my local trade part supplier :o, go and get the service parts from VW or Eurocarparts and you will deff get the correct parts. If they are dearer it will only be a few quid.
Steve.

local parts in town unless I have to buy genuine. filters are cheap anyway so may aswell get genuine.
-
I just did a service on my mk2 Golf, I bought oil, oil filter and spark plugs from VW for ?37.
It probably would have been cheaper to buy them from my local car parts but in the long run I don't think you really save that much and you?re also running the risk of pars failing

Don't use GSF

volkspare seem to be quite reasonable for my stuff...filters and other sevice bits aren't dear so it's worth getting genuine vw for peace of mind. ;)
