ditto, i went for Vpower aswell through gritted teeth, (paying over the odds for the same fuel) im getting conserned about tesco having now by the looks of it across the uk, must be they are gonna stop selling it, as it comes from the same refinery as Vpower does .

Tesco K. Lynn had been re-stocked by last night - that saved me paying BP prices today.

good news vanders!!!, although i had to stump up £1.04 a litre of vpower yesturday. (much to my disgust), hopefully my local will have restocked intime for my next visit, no doubt in a couple of days as usual

Tesco purposely de-stocked 99 fuel because of the huge demand for standard unleaded caused by their "5p off a litre when you spend £50 in store" offer.

Seems to be back now though.

a quick one here guys, but a lot of you seem to be using tesco for fuel,i used to aswell until i started using the trip counter at every fill up and found that i was constantly getting 60 miles more out of a tank full of v power.

£1.04 for VPower !!! You need to stop getting it delivered to your door. It's only 99p up here in Glasgow. Our Tesco has plenty of 99 as well even during the 5p off thing. I only know because I filled up our other car (Lexus RX300) with 99 to see if it made any difference. Unfortunately it still does 23mpg but it was soo much cheaper than the hybrid version so i don't care.

£1.04  thats the joy of living in the sunny south, you boys up north dont pay half as much as we have to down here!!, cost of living is alot more down here,  and you have better roads to blast around on. thats just no fair!!

i paid 104.9 for v-power last week!! so not just you southerners who get it tough!!

that's not that bad - tescos 'best' is 101.9 a litre for me - you can guess what Shell / BP are charging - about 5p a ltr more and that makes a difference when I do 55 + miles a day.

Keep thinking of getting a Tesco Business credit card account which saves 2p a litre.  Only trouble is my wife likes her / our clubcard points / vouchers bonus thingies.

Used to live in London but could only afford a Capri and didn't drive it very often. That's why I left. Wouldn't wish London upon my worst enemy. Come up here boys, cheaper fuel, cheaper cars, cheaper property, some of the world's great roads and a quality football team (Michel Platini, Francoise Mitterand, Charles De Gaulle, Asterix the Gaul, Coco Chanel are you watching ? Your boys have been destroyed again !)

You'll get on so well with those cute southern accents !!
