Title: Mk4 Golf rear callipers, Bora?
Post by: Dolly on 06 October 2007, 16:47
after being let down with a set of mk4 rear callipers ive found a set from a BORA year 99 also advertised as Audi A3 fitment... simple question ... are these the same as Golf Mk4 callipers and the same straight swop onto the mk2 with the adpter flexi hose and longer cables ?

only if you have the later rear calipers, the early ones have the handbrake hose going into the top of the caliper.  In this case apparently you can flip the calipers upside down, problem with this is the bleed nipples will then be at the bottom so you';ll have to take em off and hang em the right way up again to bleed.
