PM 'caddyvantastic' on here as he's VW parts manager in Reading. I don't care how much they are, as I need some and am ordering them today!

£75+ VAT from VW
£24.50 + VAT from GSF are these ones any good though? does anyone know? im only after the passenger side one as mine rusting away :embarassed:
-
You take a risk with 'pattern' parts of the wing not lining up properly. You can get a straight non rusty genuine VW wing from a scrappy for £15.

non rusty.........i doubt it!

if you watch what you are doing and buy a 2nd hand wing of a mk2 without a wheel arch trim you should not have any problems with rust there are plenty of good ones in scrapyards i got one and it was perfect not all mk 2's in scrapyards are rot boxes

Got mine from a scrapy, mint.

I fitted a GSF one to my last golf, it went on nicely

All pattern wings are crap, and are made of cheese! genuine vw panels are in a different league, Panel fit on my 16v is perfect, no fileing holes, no nasty edges, and wont rust for many years! cheap at £75ish+vat http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f90/thom62/golf020.jpg

hmmm maybe ill have a gander around the scrappy then

I'm wanting the exact same thing so I've left my name and number with a few breakers yards to give me a call when they get a colour match in (to avoid respray costs).
In theory, the scrappy wing will blend in nicely with the rest of the car as it will be the same age.
