Title: well chuffed!!

started stipping out mk2 16v project today, have left the engine as too scarey to think about at mo, so i decided to remove the 3" of stagnent water from inside!!, much to my suprise floor pan is no rust at all!!! blimey, have took the mouldy seats out and washed and vaxed em they have come up a treat, carpets are on the grass till i decide what to do with em, had to bin all sound deadning stuff as totally sodden with water and stunk!! heres so pics of me few hours work!!, tomorrow all interior panels off and may start ripping dash out..........................

i'll be following this post closely man, as i'm in the middle of doing similar stuff to my car.  Trouble is i dont have a spare so i have to plan revamping it in advance, also im kinda waiting for the summer :)
looking good so far
what are you gonna do, buy some more carpet or what coz i thought about a similar thing but i caant find any carpet online?  Keep posting pics its good for me to follow as ive never done up a car before (or should i say had one thats worthy of doing up) thx man

unfortunately had some more serious grief off inlaws about this being a 'state' on there drive so gonna break it!! so any parts your after let me know!!, carpet will be shampooed and sorted so for sale cheap if you want as all good, plus any other parts or will sell complete for ?150 (with no wheel/tyres)

hi mate sorry to hear, i could be interested in the interior if its any good, depends where you live, how much you want etc whether or not you could post it, does it have a decent backbox on it??? cheers man

you have a message!!!, oh yeha it dosnt have a back box as it was brand new so ive stuck it on my 8v gti, i have a nice shiney scorpion dtm back box for sale though....

thx but im looking for something a bit less bulkier and not as noisy as the dtm.  My car came with a dtm, one pipe has just rusted off the back.  I'm kiunda pleased about that coz it gives me a good excuse to get rid of it :)
