Hi all,

Had my 54 plate gti stolen last night...  with keys!

Silver three door, cloth interia.

Stolen from near Stockport if anyone spots it.

Probably a coincidence but a colleague had his number plates stolen from his silver golf last week in Chester.

What a bummer...

This kinda crime is getting more and more common now  :angry:

A workmate had his Golf GT stolen (with keys) a few weeks back and a neighbour had her Lexus stolen (with keys in broad daylight.) back in July.

I now always make sure my keys are near me, especially at night!

Maybe not a coincidence... I mean why would anyone want to steal plates if not to put on another car?

my work van had its plates stolen last year, then i have a summons for unpaid congestion change bill in london!!!!!!, ive never been in the zone, the w&nkers obviously didnt wanna pay the toll  :angry:

Cheshire, inbetween Stockport and Macclesfield.

Could have been worse.  You hear all sorts of stories about robberies for keys.  Just VERY annoying!

Waiting to get screwed on the insurance payout :cry:

Do you have a tracker installed? Keep an eye on the Autotrader etc sites. MAybe it shgows up there?

Terrible news mate.   How did they get the keys out of interest?  Were you threatened?  Were you targeted or was it a chance theft?

Hi,

Keys taken in a chance theft (i hope).  Keys never in the location taken from, but gone on monday morning... house burglary.

Name of location does match the ***'s
