Title: Hello all GTI lovers

Hey,

I'm a golf GTI mk1 cab (1987) owner. My car is currently in a state of dis-repair, as some chug nugget seized the engine. That chug nugget was me. I've emptied the bonnet and i'm thinking about taking the thing apart to do a total rebuild with a new paint job. Currently out in Afghanistan, so i'll post pics and stuff when i get back at the end of November. Great site by the way, looking forward to all golf gti related chat.
