Title: Petrol overspill

Anyone ever come across this one? Fill up the tank and if the pump nozzle doesn't cut out, petrol overflows from somewhere behind the rear quarterpanel. It's definitely not coming from the filler cap. Only thing I can think of is that the petrol expansion tank is filled up and there may be some form of release valve.

Any ideas?
