Title: Smoke from vents when hot?
Post by: Ben Lessani on 27 September 2007, 18:31
Hi troops, interesting one...Recently, when the engine has heated up I'm getting a feint smoke come from the vents - very subtle when the heating is on cold, but when set to hot its pretty visible. It is totally odourless - just smells of hot dust....I haven't really done anything with the car recently - or parked it under anything odd, I spilt a bit of oil on the intake and exhaust manifolds - but that burned off after about 20 mins or so, its been 2 days since then.

Anyone have any thoughts...? Oh, it also happens even if the fan isn't on (so its not the fan setting on fire).
