Title: Mk2 2l 8v acceleration woes
Post by: sporting wood on 26 September 2007, 22:24
My car judders when accelerating over between 3500 and 4000rpm in any gear. It also sounds louder than I'm sure it should but has just had a new middle and back box, any ideas?

i had the same problem. Strip off the throttle body and give it a good clean and a slight polish. i let it soak in brake cleaner for a couple of hrs that got all the sh!t n grease off inside and out.

that should sort it, my 8v GTi and my pals 16v Jetta GTi had the same problem
