Title: Intermitant faults
Post by: Grazer on 26 September 2007, 21:51
Whilst driving home tonight, I the red warning light below the "Oil" icon on the dash began flashing.
Then after a few seconds, there was a buzzer sounding, which I guess is an audible warning too.

After checking the oil, everything appeared in order.

Is this a common fault?

Either low oil pressure  Or if your lucky a dodgy sensor or mine was actually a loose connection on the oil sensor

I still haven't had the time to give it the once over, check out all the connection and what not under the bonnet so, hopefully it's just a loose connection.
