i have a 2000 golf gti 2.0, does anybody know without guessing if the new shape 2.0 gti will fit mine, and if ill just have to change the brain, think the loom should be similar. if not has anyone ever turboed one, i know it can be done as there aint much space difference between a 1.8gti and the 2.0 gti. ant help on this would be great.

 also whats the best uprated suspension to go for, want a 40mm drop but want shocks and springs, and radiators who would be the best for them, im from northern ireland.

why spend £1000+ torboing a car that you can buy ready built and with a better engine?? sell the 2.0 and buy a 1.8t

Not that I'm an expert, but more like £3000+ to turbo that...

And selling yours + that money would easily give you enough to buy a 1.8T in the first place.
