Title: taking off side skirts??

how do you take the cabby side skirts off? i want to take them off and see if there is any rust that needs sorting!  :undecided:

VW in all their wisdom ? decided to stick on there body kits, a few screws here and there, but mostly super sticky glue.

3 options,

Steam cleaner on basta*d hot mode, softes the glue quickly, allowing you to gently pull them off.

Boiling water, same as above, but slower & kinder to the paint work.

Hot air gun, same again, except you run the risk of melting the paint/plastic.
