Title: door windows

I have a 87 gti 5 doorwhich has 1/4 lites in the front doors.Does anyone know if you could take these out and fit the later type full window drop glass in its place easy enough rather than change the doors

I think you will find a door change would be easier, but whether what you want to do is possible, I don't think so but truthfully, I don't know.

I'm in the same boat - I hate the stupid 1/4 windows, and always think the one-piece should drop in - I wish I could buy new doors, but have no idea of the paint code.
