Post by: Phil.O on 21 September 2007, 14:48
G-max suspension kits........

are these any good? a local mod garage swears by them but i've heard some nasty things about them and have been told to leave them alone by some but i really have no idea about it, they seem cheap which sometimes means crap but not always

anyone any advice?

It depends what kind of use you want them for but personnaly I'd avoid them and go for something like Eibach's who's rep procedes them

I had a set of their springs on a Mk2 with Sachs / Boge turbo gas shocks from GSF.  The shocks made up for some of the shortcomings in the springs.  The ride was firm but handling pretty good.  Having said that, you do get what you pay for.
