Title: Help with first service

My GTi is 1 year old this week - only done 5900 miles - got in it this morning and 'service due' is flashing at me.................is this right? Thanks in advance.

If its on time and distance and not longlife servicing then yes, after a year you will get the warning

Hey there, you should do service yourself, full kit is only 50 euro and you turn the service light off yourself. I have a 2005 mk5 and Audi serviced it in may. in august the oil light came on, I checked the brain and there was NO OIL, A 2YEAR OLD OIL FILTER AND A HOOVER BAG FOR AN AIRFILTER!!!! Money well spent???? :angry:

Ask for a 'nice' price, get a dealer service, get the book stamped.
