1  grab a hammer / brick / old electrical appliance from the house

2 hit windscreen as many times as you like (making sure you keep clear of your precious bodywork)

3 call auto windscreens

4 arrange for them to come fix it (have your insurance cert at hand and 50 notes)

5 auto windscreens arrive, screen fitted - pay them the 50 notes

6 make cup of tea and admire your new screen

Note - you need fully comp insurance to do this, and no wont affect your NCB

when i had one of my cars resprayed i did this with all the windows on the car hahahah

It doesn't affect your NCB. However it does affect your premiums.
