How do I keep MK1 clocks using a elecrtonic speedo pickup?
I am thinking of switching to another brand of engine (see previous posts), and the speedo pickup will be an electronic pluse type, how do I keep my lovley square speedo and get it to work with the new box?

The only thing I can think of is to use a late electronic type speedo and swap the face of the dial and try and mash it back into the houseing in the right place, ish.

Any other ideas would be gratefully recieved.

Cheers

there was a company that could make up any custom speedo cable, though this would only work if the gearbox you are using has a toothed drive for the speedo pickup...

Sorry I have not replyed, can't think of a good excuse.

I am running a Honda gearbox, dunno which one, but it's got a plug on it.  Sorry, crap information, but I know nothing about it and I haven't actually got around to fitting it...

More later.

Thank you again
