Title: what are the chances ???

im looking for a mk1 rear Q panel, and have managed to find a second hand one(cut of a car)
being new to the scene i was wanting to know what my chances are of finding a new one here in the uk.i dont want to get this one if a week down the line a new old stock one turns up,

Slim to remote, it'll have to come from a dealer who had one kicking about, your best bet is to go to your friendly local VW dealer, get them to look up the part number, then do a dealer wide search, you never know your luck, failing that, a pannel supplier (yellow pages) or the bay of fleas...

thought as much main dealer was a big no,it cmes up as no longer available and with no part number to check other sites with and no one else does them so i guess il repair mine or buy second hand
