Title: squeeky creeky vw

does any one know where i can get some off that silicon grease that helps stop the car squeeking.. :-\

Halfords definitely sell silicon spray and I suspect probably have silicon grease too. If not, try a motor factors like Partco.

I use a thin smear of vaseline on the rim (no smutty remarks, please :)) of the parcelshelf, which keeps the creaks away from there.

Also, you could use furniture polish. Smear this along all rubber trim and it'll keep things smooth as well as preventing icing up in frosty weather.
