Title: wheel and tyre sizes

Im looking at getting either some 16 or 17 inch alloys for my mk3 but not sure on tyre sizes. I have an as yet standard m reg gti 16v.
Also after a full leather interior.

Any ideas

i believe 16" tyres are silly money, so 17"s might be a bette choice because of that.

for leather interior, watch ebay guess .. dont come try steal mine or the dog'll have ya  ;D

u'd need

205/45/17" tyres to keep the rolling radius the same.

BUY GOOD TYRES.. not cheap crap..

205/40/17 makes it bang on. had my speedo calibrated when the 17s went on and with that size it was closer than with standard.

60 was 59 on my clock, 70 was 69 and 80 was bang on the button.
