Is the fuel pump relay linked to the coil?
My 1600 Gti cut out yesterday but I got it going by running a cable from the positive of the battery to the coil is this dodgy?  :undecided:

when it cut out, does the pump still prime when you turn the ignition on?

I've been and bought a fuel pump relay from GSF, it seems to have done the job.........fingers crossed  :smiley:
