Title: Paint buffing advice needed.

I have a paint buffer and will be using farecla g3 compound. What should i do about the side strips (black textured plastic) Should i just go over them or mask them.

Any help would be great.

I would mask anything like that up as it would be very hard not to get polish on these bits and a complete b@stard to get any polish off plastic trim !
