Great programme - see Hammond had another shunt whilst driving the BMW in the 24 hours race. Got hit up the rear ( oooh) but managed to carry on after the car was repaired.

Will be nice to see the three stooges again when the series returns - they compliment each other well and aren't freightened to take the p!ss out of each other either. Superb entertainment :smug:

The Hamster is also doing "silly high speed persuits" (words similar to which the gutter press and ITV will use to report the issue) at an RAF base - he is racing a Veyron against a Eurofighter Typhoon - can't wait for that one.

Don't think so - Bugatti/VAG mustn't have allowed it. Full list here:

I'm sure James May (Captain Slow) did more than 200mph in it though

TBH, the Veyron isn't really about "setting fast lap times".  It more of an "intercontinental long-distance super GT", so point and squirt lappery will probably do it no favours, and certainly won't place it at the top of the power laps chart.

May did his blat in the Veyron at the VW test track, and, IIRC, said it would drink a full tank of juice in 8 minutes when the go pedal is mashed to the floor!  Makes my RS4 look "green"!
