MFD2 Comfort settings have headlights switching on only when unlocking. Indicators also flash twice when unlocking and once when locking using alarm remote

Mine flash when locking.

Check your settings in the highline menu. If not see your dealer and they can change your settings for you.

Mine flash too.

As Cass stated, the settings can be altered via the highline computer, otherwise it is a trip to the stealer, or find a mate with VAG-COM.  You can also enable horn honk when locking, but only via stealer/VAG-COM.  :nerd:

I know its the wrong forum, but TT seems to know alot. Can horn honk be enabled in the MK4 via VAG COM?

Would really come in handy for me as im useless and remembering if I locked her or not, horn honk would do the job for me.

Beep will do, so if I find someone with VAG COM they can get a beep!?

Fantastic

Rhyso, when are you coming to visit me in London? ;)

I don't actually know for certain, but I'd imagine it could.  IIRC, the horn honk is disabed by default on all EU markets, as it is deemed "anti-social", in the same manner that unattended car alarms are.  North American markets have enabled (on the Mk5) by default.

Would really come in handy for me as im useless and remembering if I locked her or not, horn honk would do the job for me.

Oh, me too.  I'm also a member of the "did I lock the car" club!  :embarassed:
