 Some little feckers tried to get in to the house last night for the keys. The alarm was on but they tried to take the glass out of the front window. I woke at 4am and looked out and the fecked off. I'm f**ked off that you cant have anything decent these days with out some bar-steward trying to take it.
Thats the second time since January, maybe I sohuld get a 1.6D Passat, or maybe just kill myself now instead.
I demand the right to bear arms or at least a semi-automatic weapon.

I feel for you dude!
Had the same thing happen at my brothers house. They removed a paving slab, threw it through the kitchen window and climbed in, to go through my mums hand bag (looking for the keys of my brothers BMW). When he woke and ran down stairs they told him to go back to bed before someone got hurt... Thankfully they didnt get the keys as they were upstairs! And even left my mums creditcards in the garden for her.
So remember.. its not just about leaving a nice car on the driveway.. hide bags as well as keys!!

Get an air rifle and put wee balls of BluTack in as bullets. Let's see if they come back !
Alternatively, have you seen that anti carjacking thing from South Africa which basically uses a flame thrower to toast any assiliants? I don't think we'd miss one less twit.

I think you've mis-spelled the last word
Having had my previous car stolen with the keys and then having put myself between the car and the escape route and then having the thief point the vehicle at me with the sole intention of causing harm I can sympathise with everyone.
I'm sure the youth must have had a difficult childhood but I cannot find it in my heart to forgive him.
In fact I'm so sympathetic that I have taken some 'special' precautions in the event of something similar happening.

No error in the spelling, these forums tend to filter particular language.
My view today is, though I love the car, its a car, with one 2 year old child and another due I'm not throwing myself in front of a thief trying to take the car. If they turned violent they can have the fecking thing its insured. Now if they come upstairs thats a different matter all together, a Police Mag-Lite will pound the fecking heads in and then I'll throw there unconcious body down the stairs and jump on it until the Fuzz get there.
Ahh, calm thoughts, deep breaths....
Now I wonder if I can get a legally held sniper rifle with night scope..... I'll try Ebay.

In South Africa the law actually considers it a life sentence of manslaughter if someone breaks in or something and you kill him or render him unable to continue a normal life :embarassed:
The law here states that unless the attacker or thief actually harms you first then you can attack him.
So in SA. IF you want to protect your cars and family you have:
1. Electrical fencing (Its killed 2 birds and we only had it a month)
2. At least 10 CCTV Cameras around the house (And you mount them in the walls else the thieves steal them off the wall)
3. An alarm
4. Ruddy security gates on every door.
And more....
So consider yourselves lucky. Im happy to here your family and more importantly (Just jokes) your car is ok.

must agree where the family thing is concerned its probably better to just let them take the car... and hope they burn i out or it vanishes. Atleast that way your not left with a car thats been driven to within an inch of its life. Most of these kind of breakins are a well organised ring where the car is shipped abroad and sold on (atleast that what the policeman told me before he drove off in his brand new RangeRover )
Me??? I dont have no kids so its til death do I part where my car is concerned!!
