Title: Oil warning light...
Post by: dentman on 03 September 2007, 18:07
I have a 3 year old Golf 2.0 TDi, last serviced about 9 months and 6000 ish miles ago. Today the "Check Oil Level" warning light came on. I checked the level, sure enough it was low. I've topped it up but the warning light stays on and annoyingly beeps whenever I start up. Any ideas what the problem may be. Thanks in advance... Kenny

It's too early to give you a lecture on muppetry!

How much oil did it take to top up?  And is it now to the max level on the dipstick?
