Title: 1998 Golf gt tdi chipping

Has anyone had their '98 golf gt tdi chipped?i've been told by angel tuning i cant remap mine cos its before 1999?is this right and if so where can i get it chipped.its a 110bhp model.thanks

err i thought there were a few other members that had had their 110's remapped to about 150

do you know what your engine code is?

have you tried jabba?

Do you want to get it physically chipped - where they solder a new chip onto the ecu

or remapped where they use the diagnostic port to flash the new map onto the ecu?

I would have thought you could do both to be honest.

Try a well known remap company like REVO.

i was told by angel tuning they can't remap a 98 model gt tdi 110 but they can do a '99.on their website it says that but i thought it'd be the same cos its the same engine as a 99 model
