Been thinking the MK2 is a little slow now, although when i got her i was well impressed. So i was thinking about the VR6, although if im honest i think the MK3's look pants!! Still love the look of a nice MK2, so what should i do ??

seems obvious... get a mk3 front subframe and fit the vr6 into the mk2...

Ive got both a Mk3 VR6 and a Mk2 16v, and the Mk2 pretty much as fast as the VR6. So if you dont want the hassle of a Mk2 VR6 conversion and dont want a Mk3 then get a 16v. I was 'forced' into a 2 litre conversion just after i bought my 16v and its faster than the VR.
I personally would rather have the VR6, but i quite like the Mk3s.

 VR6 the mk2 you have , you wont regret it , just get a good lump as there is a lot of old worn out lumps out there
-
how much should you pay for a vr6 lump? im thinking about getting one in the future and just wondered how much i should save lol

Don't do it 8vRicey. I have always thought yours was one of the best if not the best umolested MkII's on the site.
