Title: Smoking lights!?!

I have the standard rear lights spare from my golf. i was just wondering how i go about smoking them so they look like the red/black 16v rear lights?

do i have to take it all apart then glue it together? just had a look and it all looks bonded together  :undecided: will i have the break the seal some how?

edit: forgot to ask ... will any black spray paint (for plastics) work?

Might be less hassle to look for a breaking car that has a set on it !

tried that ... there are no mk2s in the scrappies near me (literally tried all of them). not having much luck on the wanted section  :undecided:

so any advice on how to do it would be great thanks :)

If you can wait a week or so i should have some proper half smoked Hella jobbies.
