Post by: VeeDubGTI16v on 26 February 2004, 10:38
where do you reckon tweeters should go in a mk2 at the front??

i had them in the original speaker location in the back corners of the dash but you can hardly hear them :P

the less cutting the better too ;D

On a small bracket (you may have to make one) on the outside corners of the underdash tray, you can use the screw that bolts the tray up to the dash, Very neat and excellent sound.  A bit of alloy sheet cut to a strip and bent to about 90 deg will do, you can then angle and rotate to adjust sound.  Its the next best thing to kick pannel pods...   No cutting required!! :)
