I've been looking at the press hype of the Ecotek device. Have you had any joy with it then, or is it a gimmick??   :)

It's a little to early to tell yet, but I will post my findings in the next month.

It takes a while for the computer to adjust to it as it was reading 168 MPG for around 20 miles!!!!

Hmmm...

Not that impressed at the moment! Computer in the car said I was getting around 28-29 mpg, when I filled up and checked it at was only doing around 25 mpg!

I need to check the mechanics of the device and make sure I set it up correctly.  I consider myself Technical so it might just be 'bedding in'.

Still NOT Impressed!!

25MPG Again!

I've adjusted it again and I'll give it one last try but I don't think it will do any good, I'd Like to try it on my 520i (Normally aspirated) but I can't fit it anywhere.

Keep you eye on this spot for the next update!!

I had one one my mk2 gti and it improved mpg but tbh i dont think it would work on my 1.8t as the fuel mixture is all done by the ecu and sensors
